Bats, dolphins, and fishermen use echoes to find objects or obstructions. They are also utilized in SONAR (Sound navigation and ranging) and RADAR (Radio detection and ranging) to find an obstruction. SONAR uses the detection of ultrasonic wave reflections to identify objects, whereas RADAR uses the detection of radio wave reflections to identify objects.
