Depending on your vessel, bunker fuel may or may not be ordinary white diesel, which is used to power the motors of maritime boats. As a source of bunker fuel, some watercraft use diesel and other, larger vessels’ marine gas oil (also known as low sulphur fuel oil, or LSFO).
