Website operation
WordPress and the website’s service providers may use browser storage or session information to support functions such as secure sign-in, form protection and saved preferences. Some functions apply only to administrators or signed-in users. Their presence does not mean that every visitor receives the same cookies.
Website measurement
Google Analytics helps us understand website use, including pages visited, traffic sources and interactions. Its cookie names commonly include _ga and _ga_<container-id>, which distinguish browsers and maintain session information. Google documents a default lifetime of two years; settings and browser restrictions can shorten or otherwise affect this period. This is a provider default, not a statement that every cookie on this website lasts two years.
Jetpack Stats, provided by Automattic, also measures visits and activity. Its documented processing can include IP address, browser information, page and referring addresses, event time, language, country and WordPress.com account identifiers where a visitor is logged in. Your choices
You can inspect, block and remove cookies through your browser settings. Blocking storage may affect some website functions. Deleting a cookie does not necessarily erase information already received by a provider or stop a script from sending further information.
Google provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. Provider tools and browser settings are additional controls; they do not replace any consent choice that the website is required to offer.
